French’s green bean casserole is a must-have dish, not just Thanksgiving dinner, but for potlucks and any time you need a good 'ole fashioned comfort food meal. I made TWO of these for Thanksgiving dinner, and just made another one to have for dinner throughout the week. My husband loves it - and it's SO HARD to get him to eat veggies! So, this dish is a win-win for our family several times throughout the year.
1 can Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
¾ cup of milk
4 cups cooked, cut green beans (fresh, frozen or canned)
1 1/3 cups French’s Crispy Fried Onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix soup, milk, salt & pepper in a 1 ½ qt. baking dish. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions. Bake a 350 F degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining Onions. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
